Young Jury Reviews
Film Ireland EXTRA is proud to host the three top reviews from the Cinemagic Young Juries. These two juries, one comprised of ten 10–14 year olds and the other of ten 15–18 year olds, gave their verdicts on the films in competition, awarding Best Short Film for a Children’s Audience and Best Short Film for a Teenage Audience respectively.
As part of the experience, the jurys were invited to view a selection of shorts and give their own personal responses to the films. On the 26th & 27th of April, the jurys were invited to Movies@Swords for a workshop with Film Ireland mentor Eamonn Gray and to review a selection of shorts.
Of the reviews written, the top three were selected. Congratulations to Andrew Naylor (Age 16, Dublin), Eimear Duff (Age 14, Dublin) and Megan O Connor (Age 12, Meath).
