This is supposed to be a spoof on romantic comedies: The ugly duckling girl, Julia Jones, meets the man of her dreams,Grant Funkyerdoder, and transforms into a stunner! Yeah right!

The directors tried to fit in as many scenes from as many other spoof romantic comedies as possible, and believe me they did… Meet the Fockers, When Harry Met Sally, The Wedding Planner, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, My Best Friend's Wedding, Bridget Jones Diary, King Kong, Pretty Woman, Kill Bill, What Women Want, The Batchelor, Pimp My Ride, Meet the Parents, Wedding Crashers, and on and on and on.

And this is basically all this movie is. Bad interpretations of played-out scenes from other really bad movies, and of course the token zit popping, vomiting hairballs, and cats with chronic diarrhoea.

Nothing original, completely boring and actually downright politically incorrect in places e.g. beating up bums for fun and making a joke of fat people. It was painful to sit through and the only redeeming factor was that it only lasted 80 minutes, one painful minute after another.

I believe Alyson Hannigan is starring in a new sitcom in the US. I think she should stick to TV. Buffy probably was her time – stay away from this tripe, Alyson. I don't even want to mention any of the other actors; there's no need really, they were all rubbish.

Don't people get tired of producing and watching this crap? The film's creators must be about 12, if not they should be ashamed of themselves wasting good money on this trash!

Avoid at all costs.
