Chloé Zhao is a Chinese-born filmmaker known for her poetic, character-driven films. She won an Oscar wins for Nomadland (2020) as Best Director and Picture. After studying at Mount Holyoke College and NYU's Tisch School, she gained acclaim with Songs My Brothers Taught Me (2015) and The Rider (2017) before directing Marvel's Eternals (2021) and her upcoming period drama Hamnet (2025).
