Creative Europe MEDIA is the European Commission’s flagship funding programme supporting the European AV & film industries. It provides financial backing to filmmakers, production companies, & distributors to develop, produce, & promote European works with strong cross-border & international appeal. In Ireland, there are two Creative Europe MEDIA desks based in Dublin and Galway. Projects supported by this fund include Normal People, The Favourite and The Quiet Girl (An Cailín Ciúin).
