Emma Mackey is a French-British actress best known for playing Maeve Wiley in Netflix’s Sex Education. She has since starred in films including Eiffel, Death on the Nile, Emily, and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. In 2025, she led James L. Brooks’ Ella McCay. Mackey also appeared in Hot Milk and Julia Ducournau’s Alpha. Upcoming projects include Gerwig’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew, in which she plays the White Witch. She starred in Irish film The Winter Lake.
