Gar O'Rourke is an award-winning Irish director working across documentary, branded content, commercials & art films. His work has screened at major international festivals and been acquired by broadcasters across Europe and North America. His debut feature documentary, Sanatorium, premiered in the DOX:AWARD international competition at CPH:DOX 2025 and was acquired by BBC Storyville. He is currently in production on his second feature documentary, a co-production between Ireland & Switzerland.
