Actor Jamie Bell was born in Billingham, County Durham, England. His debut performance was the title character in Stephen Daldry’s film Billy Elliot, for which he won the BAFTA for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Bell has appeared in major film projects including King Kong, Defiance, The Adventures of Tintin, Snowpiercer, Fantastic Four, Film Stars & Rocketman, and Without Remorse.
