Brooklyn actor Jeremy Allen White gained recognition as Phillip “Lip” Gallagher in the US Shameless & later as chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in The Bear (2022–present), winning multiple Primetime Emmy Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards for the role. His film credits include Deliver Me from Nowhere, Afterschool, The Rental and The Iron Claw, and he stars opposite Jessie Buckley in the sci-fi romance Fingernails (2023).
