Kerry woman Jessie Buckley is an acclaimed actress & singer, working in film, TV & music. She first gained notoriety in 2008 finishing second on BBC talent show I’d Do Anything. This led to major West End roles including A Little Night Music. A RADA graduate, Buckley earned critical acclaim for performances in Wild Rose, Chernobyl & The Lost Daughter, the latter earning her an Oscar nom. She won a Laurence Olivier Award for Cabaret & released Mercury Prize–shortlisted music with Bernard Butler.
