Terenure local Kelly Thornton began her career as a teenager after landing the lead role of Emma in Life's a Breeze. The performance earned her an IFTA nomination for Best Actress and the Bingham Ray New Talent Award at the Galway Film Fleadh. She is also known for playing Corrina Mallon in Clean Break and Ann Lawlor in Sing Street. Thornton has continued to work across Irish film and television, appearing in projects including Battle, Bainne, Twin and Flora and Son.
