Based in Wicklow, Marissa is an Emmy-winning filmmaker known for Sikhs in America and Emmy-nominated The Delano Manongs. A Fulbright Scholar, she has taught in the US and Ireland and now lectures at IADT. Her short film Recipe, previously titled (Losing Cock/Talunang Manok), is a suspenseful short film shot in the Philippines and edited by award-winning editor John Murphy (The Quiet Girl). The Parting premiered at DIFF 2026. Her short Birthday Swim was supported by Dlr's First Frames scheme
