Review: Shadow Dancer
Julie Nicholl-Stimpson steps into the dark for this IRA thriller.
Actor Martin McCann grew up in the working-class Divis Flats area of Belfast and began acting as a child, appearing in stage productions like Oliver Twist & Bugsy Malone after joining a cross-community drama troop. He broke through when director Richard Attenborough cast him in Closing the Ring, later appearing in The Pacific, Killing Bono, Swansong: Story of Occi Byrne (IFTA winner), Boogaloo and Graham, Calibre (BAFTA Scotland nominee) & BBC’s Blue Lights as Officer Stevie Neil.
