Michael Kinirons is a screenwriter & director, an alumnus of the National Film & Television School, London, Torino Film Lab & Berlin Talent Campus. His first produced feature, Strangerland—starring Nicole Kidman, Hugo Weaving & Joe Fiennes—premiered at Sundance 2015. In 2022, he made his directorial debut The Sparrow, which won Best First Feature at Galway Film Fleadh, the audience award at Seminci, Valladolid & an IFTA.
