Michelle Yeoh is a Malaysian actor born in Ipoh, Perak. She rose to international fame through Hong Kong action films, including Police Story 3: Super Cop and The Heroic Trio, before starring in Tomorrow Never Dies, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Memoirs of a Geisha, Crazy Rich Asians, and Everything Everywhere All at Once. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress, becoming the first Asian woman to do so, and recently filmed The Surgeon in Ireland.
