Nick has directed commercials for clients including AIB, Barry’s Tea, Yuno Energy, Newstalk, Clonakilty Black Pudding, the Irish Film Archive (featuring Saoirse Ronan), and the Simon Communities. He began making short films in 2003; his third film, Shoe, was Oscar-shortlisted, and his debut feature won 18 international awards. A former solicitor, Nick is also a Clio-winning copywriter, Choice Music Prize-nominated musician, which is the topic of his latest film The Song Cycle.
