Terry George1

Belfast-born writer-director Terry George moved to New York in 1981 with his wife Rita and children Oorlagh and Seamus. There worked as a journalist and debuted as a playwright with The Tunnel. His screen work includes In the Name of the Father, Some Mother’s Son, the CBS series The District, the Oscar-winning Hotel Rwanda, the Oscar-winning short The Shore, and The Promise.
