Yaron was born and raised in Israel and moved to the US in his early twenties. He discovered the film camera at the age of 16 and has since been honing his craft ever since. Yaron Orbach has shot acclaimed films and series including Our Idiot Brother, The Ward, Thanks for Sharing, Orange Is the New Black, The Deuce, Modern Love, We Own This City, Seven Seconds, The Calling, and Dope Thief. He is a long time collaborator with John Carney, filming Sing Street, Begin Again & Power Ballad in Dublin.
