Yuliia Riabova, an award-winning journalist from Odesa, Ukraine, moved to Ireland in 2023 after Russia’s invasion. She hosts and produces The New Residents podcast on Radio Kerry, highlighting Ukrainians in Ireland under the Temporary Protection Programme. In 2025, she won IMRO Radio’s Newcomer of the Year for her radio and documentary work. Previously, she reported and edited news in Ukraine, covering events like the Odesa Film Festival.
