Brendan is an American-Canadian actor from Indianapolis, with Irish ancestry. His film career began with Dogfight (1991) before he filmed Encino Man & School Ties (1992). His breakthrough came from George of the Jungle (1997), followed by The Mummy franchise films - then Gods and Monsters, The Quiet American & Crash. On TV, he starred in Doom Patrol, The Affair & Trust. Fraser won the Best Actor Oscar for The Whale (2022). He starred in Terry George’s Belfast feature, Whole Lotta Sole (2012)..
