Cara is a queer activist, filmmaker, editor & musician whose work spans documentary, music and visual storytelling. She directed the IFTA-winning short Welcome to a Bright White Limbo, which received a Special Jury Mention at Tribeca. Her debut feature, Notes from Sheepland, premiered at Telluride in 2023, won Best Documentary at DIFF & Pull Focus Best Irish Feature at Docs Ireland, and was nominated for an IFTA. Her latest feature is Lesbian Lines.
