She first gained national recognition through RTÉ, presenting programmes including Echo Island, The Morbegs and the Eurovision Song Contest. She has appeared in major Irish productions including The Clinic, Fair City, An Crisis & Ros na Rún, as well as the international series Vikings. Crowley received an IFTA Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in An Cailín Ciúin which was nominated for the Academy Award.
