Paris filmmaker, Coralie Fargeat is known for writing & directing thriller Revenge (2017) & body horror film The Substance (2024). She began her career directing shorts & commercials before moving into features. The Substance, starring Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley, premiered in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, where Fargeat won the Best Screenplay award, and went on to receive multiple Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay.
