LA producer Jason Blum is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, known for making classic indie horror cinema. Blum has produced franchises including Paranormal Activity, Insidious, & The Purge. Get Out (2017), directed by Jordan Peele, earned the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Blum produced Lee Cronin's The Mummy & was involved in earlier developing The Shee with Ciarán Foy. He shot Drop (2025) in Bray & Dublin.
