Laura founded and runs 925 Productions, creating TV drama and feature films. Her debut feature, Spilt Milk, premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and earned four Irish Film & Television Academy nominations, including Best Film and Best Director. It won the MUBI Audience Award (Glasgow), Golden Slipper (Zlín), a top prize at Olympia, and audience awards at Mediterranean Split, British & Irish Luxembourg, and Kerry festivals, with US and Cinemagic screenings.
