Naemi is a writer & visual artist, who having completed an undergraduate degree in English and American Studies at the University of Hamburg, she moved to Dublin for a master’s degree in Film Theory at Trinity College. Her research interests are working-class cinema, gender representation, and the study of neoliberalism in popular media. Naemi is pursuing a PhD at the University of Konstanz investigating the impact of neoliberal ideology on the representation of working-class identity.
