Rashida is an LA-born actor, writer & filmmaker. Her maternal grandmother, Rita Lipton, was born in Dublin. She had TV roles in Boston Public, The Office and Parks & Rec, later starring in Angie Tribeca. Her films include The Social Network, The Muppets, Tag and On the Rocks. She co-wrote Celeste & Jesse Forever and contributed story work to Toy Story 4. She co-directed and produced Quincy. Her Apple TV+ series Sunny was based on a novel by Irish author Colin O’Sullivan.
