Richie is a three-time Academy Award-winning VFX Supervisor, Executive Producer & 2nd Unit Director on the Avatar sequels. Originally trained in traditional animation, he transitioned to CGI while working on The Iron Giant. He won awards as Animation Supervisor on The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers & The Return of the King. His credits include Alita: Battle Angel and The Chronicles of Narnia. He co-designed & co-directed Disney’s Flight of Passage & Na’vi River Journey at Animal Kingdom.
