Sunphlowers is directed by Dave Byrne. In a rural village along the east coast of Ireland, recently bereaved widow Catherine uncovers the truth of what her deceased husband has been hiding. Catherine must fight against all odds to keep her family business and home.

Anne McCrudden
Anne began acting in the 1980s and early ’90s, performing in theatre productions by playwrights including John B. Keane, Synge, Martin McDonagh, Brian Friel and Jim Nolan. After stepping away from acting to pursue other work, she later returned to performance, when a chance meeting with filmmaker Dave Byrne led to her screen debut as Phyllis in Somebody (2023). After this followed by her role as Catherine in Sunphlowers (2025). She is now represented by Capulet Actors Agency and will feature in the next season of Harry Wilde.
