Anne began acting in the 1980s, performing in theatre productions by playwrights including John B. Keane, Synge, Martin McDonagh, Brian Friel & Jim Nolan. After stepping away from acting to pursue other work, she later returned to performance, when a chance meeting with filmmaker Dave Byrne led to her screen debut as Phyllis in Somebody(2023). After this followed by her role as Catherine in Sunphlowers (2025).
