Alan is a Dublin-based writer, director & co-founder of HAL Pictures. A graduate of IADT, he holds a BA in Film & TV Production & a MA in Screenwriting. His work has screened in Ireland & internationally, including on RTÉ. His 2024 short Ogham premiered at Galway & won awards for cinematography & score. His earlier film Jungle also screened widely. In 2025, he joined Screen Ireland’s Mentorship Programme. In 2026 his short A Knock at Your Door premiered as he develops his debut feature Sp(k)ink.
