Alan O’Gorman is a writer from Cork. His debut feature film CHRISTY won Best Irish Film at the Galway Film Fleadh 2025. His short films include IFTA-nominated FOR YOU (starring Barry Keoghan), the award-winning CHRISTY, the Zebbie-nominated script for YELLOW BELT, and MOUSE. He also writes fiction and non-fiction. He was the winner of the 2018 John O’Connor Short Story Prize, and has been published in various literary journals.
