Diablo Cody (born Brook Michele Busey) is an American Academy Award-winning screenwriter, producer & author. She initially rose to fame for her candid blog and 2005 memoir Candy Girl, detailing her brief stint as a stripper. She quickly transitioned to Hollywood, winning an Oscar for her debut screenplay, Juno (2007). Cody’s films include Jennifer’s Body (2009), Young Adult (2011), Paradise (2013), Ricki and the Flash (2015), Tully (2018), Lisa Frankenstein (2024).
