Roth is a US screenwriter & producer whose career spans more than five decades. His breakthrough came with Forrest Gump (1994), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Roth wrote or co-wrote The Insider, Ali, The Good Shepherd, Munich, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, A Star Is Born, Dune & Killers of the Flower Moon. Roth also produced Mank, earning a Best Picture Oscar nomination ^ received the Writers Guild of America’s Screen Laurel Award for lifetime achievement.
