Martin McDonagh is an Irish-British playwright, screenwriter, producer and&director, born in London to Irish parents from Galway. His acclaimed stage plays include The Beauty Queen of Leenane & The Lieutenant of Inishmore. He made his feature directorial debut with In Bruges (2008), followed by Seven Psychopaths, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri & The Banshees of Inisherin. McDonagh has won an Academy Award for Six Shooter & multiple BAFTA, Golden Globe and Olivier Awards.
