Stephen is a British composer who began his career in theatre and television before moving into feature films. He won an Academy Award for Best Original Score for Shakespeare in Love and has also composed music for films including Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and Billy Elliot, contributing to a body of work that blends period sensitivity with strong melodic storytelling. He co-wrote and directed The Three Urns, which filmed in Ireland and starred Ciarán Hinds.
