Coimisiún na Meán is Ireland's independent media regulator. It regulates television, radio, video-on-demand (streaming) services, and certain online platforms, ensuring they operate fairly, safely, and in line with Irish and EU law. In addition to its regulatory role, it supports the development of Ireland's media sector by funding public interest media projects, promoting media literacy, and supporting broadcasters and media services to foster a diverse, sustainable, & trusted media landscape.
