Aisling’s debut short, Cease, has screened at film festivals worldwide. It won Best Scripted Film at the Royal Television Society Student Awards and was nominated both in the national competition in London and for Best Irish Film at the Fastnet Film Festival. She later won Best Student Film at the Emerging Director Awards (ICAD) and went on to direct Hurdle, which she co-wrote with Laura Whelan. Her film His House, Home, written by Philip Emo, has screened at both DIFF and Tribeca.
